Event: Kultura Filipino's Christmas and Crafts Market

Gift giving is an important part of the Filipino Christmas tradition. Christmas, after all, is a time of reunions and get togethers in the Philippines, and with our strong ties with family, friends, and even business partners, it is a great time to express our love and appreciation for them.
In keeping with this tradition, Kultura, the place to shop for all things Filipino, launches its Christmas and Crafts Market, a pre-holiday bazaar, where shoppers can find a wide selection of homespun Christmas décor and gift items.

I attended the exclusive preview of Kultura Filipino's Holiday Collection last Monday, October 10, 2011, at SM Makati. The event was spent over good breakfast cocktails and music while customers roamed around the place to check out the latest collection of Kultura Filipino.

Love..love..LOVE!

CHRISTMAS
It's easy to get into the Christmas mood with Kultura Filipino's dazzling holiday décor collection.  There are symbols of a traditional Filipino Christmas with lanterns and ornaments, nativity sets, and angel figures, as well as Santa figures delicately hand crafted by local artisans. Fashioned from indigenous materials like capiz, mother of pearl, sinamay, and driftwood, these also make great gifts for family and friends abroad.

There are also finely crafted candle holders, table centerpieces, wreaths, trees, and topiaries in glistening arrangements of holiday foliage.
Admit it, time flies so fast that we can't get over the fact that Christmas is only a few days away. And as part of the welcome, Kultura Filipino let us have a preview of their exclusive holiday decorations. Here are the few that really caught my attention.

Christmas screams red, right? And gold, and green, and shimmer!

Hello there, Santa dearest!

Actually, whenever I think of Kultura Filipino the word 'craft' enters my mind. Aside from the holiday collection, Kultura Filipino has their usual crafts made by no other than the creative Filipinos. Proud!

CRAFTS
Shoppers will also find fine gift ideas at Kultura Filipino's Christmas and Crafts Market.  There are stylish scarves, hand painted and embroidered piña shawls, fine pearls, semi precious jewelry, embellished clutch bags, and mother of pearl cufflinks for the fashionable VIP on your Christmas list.

There are sophisticated watch organizers and jewelry boxes, tabletop decor, wooden bowls, capiz serving trays, shell embellished napkin rings and organic bath sets that will delight recipients with discriminating tastes.
Banig covered notebooks, desk organizers, shell craft picture frames, high-end table top décor and other corporate gifts make ideal gifts for business associates, clients, and colleagues.

Give a taste of the Philippines with beautifully packaged local wines, native coffee brews, healthy herbal tees, and other delicacies.

Here are some of the many things I wanted to bring home with me (if budget is not to be considered!)

I love this! :)

Babe, can I have these this Christmas?
And these, too?

These are LOVE! Can someone give me the clutch as a gift?
