Review: Human Nature Lip Balm in Peppermint

Only 2 Saturdays left for school (yes, I only have classes on Saturdays), hence, I am busy like a bee. Papers, exams, and class demonstrations are here and there. So what do you expect whenever the term comes to an end? Right, STRESS! Stress is now spelled as J-E-S-S-A!

I noticed that whenever I feel stressed, externally or internally, it is constantly shown in my lips. It's dry, flaking and bleeding. I, actually, don't know what to blame. Is it in my genes? Is it based on my diet? Is it because I wear too much lipsticks? Or, is it just because my lips were made this way? Whatever the reasons may be, I am so thankful that there is a lip balm. I don't really care if it'll give me short or long-term relief, as long as there is relief, I am totally good.

I have about 5 lip balms to date, and I am still purchasing more and more. I don't know why, but this is not an addiction, I hope. The recent one I got is from the Blogapalooza loot, the Human Nature 100% Natural Lip Balm in Peppermint. Honestly, I don't have that much expectation with this lip balm. Did my thoughts change? Let's see.

Admit it, everything looks common. Nothing exceptional with the packaging, just the normal lip balm type. The product itself is usual. White and smells like mint. To tell you, I like minty lip balms better than those fruity ones but I still feel bored with it at times.

Since everything appears to be just the usual, the effectiveness will give this lip balm an edge. I tried it on my very dry lips and see for yourself how it gives me the relief I want.

The relief stays long unless I eat or drink which will definitely wear it off. Okay, as early as now, I'll be saying that I am loving this lip balm. I love it just as much as I love the Mentholatum one.

Human Nature 100% Natural Lip Balm:
Kiss your worries away! Our better-than-ever all-natural lip balms are made only with the finest blend of cocoa butter and pure plant oils. Experience the smoother, softer glide and the mount-watering natural flavors that will surely keep you reaching for your lip balm again and again... and again! It's totally guilt-free because with no mineral oil, petrolatum or paraffin, you're assured that you're not ingesting any nasty stuff.

What I LIKE about this product:
  • Inexpensive -- Each costs Php64.75 (~$2), the cheapest lip balm I have!
  • All natural! -- No one wants to ingest all the chemicals other lip balms have.
  • Keeps my lips moisturized
  • Love the peppermint taste!
  • Smells minty but not overpowering
  • Glides smoothly
  • Not too oily
  • Does not alter the color of the lipstick I put on top of it
  • Keeps me lips from chapping and flaking
  • Available in 3 variants - Tutti Fruity, Peppermint, and Choco Fudge

What I DON'T LIKE about this product:
  • The lid does locks securely -- It tends to open inside my pouch. A usual downside of the this type of packaging.

Will I repurchase?
YES! After I finish the one that I have and try the newly released tinted lip balms.

Notes:
  1. This lip balm, and the other variants, are available through their website www.humanheartnature.com and some resellers.
  2. Put on lip balms prior to lipstick application to ensure lips are well moist and to limit the appearance of lines and flakes.
  3. Human Nature ships orders so you don't have to worry much about looking for a reseller.
