I still have a lot of lipsticks reviews (Blame the growing lipstick collection!) in tow but I hate monotony so here's a blush review! Haha! I got the FAB Expert Blend Blush Duo some time last year when FAB Cosmetics was on sale. It's price went down from Php325.00 (~$8) to Php189.00 (~$5). A huge drop of prices was definitely a go signal to get a lot of products. I got this blush, a BB cream, and 3 lipsticks during the sale!
FAB Expert Blend Blush Duo:
Two silky powder blush shades expertly coordinated for that perfect sweep of color. Brush them on together or use the shades individually for a vibrant and luminous natural finish. Comfortable light weight. Long-lasting. (6 grams)
It is available in 2 shades, Rock and Rose and Flirt and Tease, and I got the Flirt and Tease to try. I love that it has 2 shades, 1 is light with shimmer and the other 1 is a bit darker with a somehow matte finish, which can be used individually or combined. It's like having 2 blushes in a price of 1. A mirror and a blush are also included.
The pigmentation is so-so but can be built if needed. I like to combine the 2 shades to achieve the perfect natural flush with a hint of glow.
What I LIKE about it:
- I got it on sale!
- Affordable
- Has 2 shades in a price of 1
- It has a huge mirror!
- Color can be built without the fear of looking overdone
- Gives that natural-looking flush
- The blush with shimmer (the one on the left) can be used as a highlighter
- Its compact packaging fits well in my purse
What I DON'T LIKE about it:
- The brush it comes with sheds and does not do its job!
- Only available through dealers
- Powdery
Will I repurchase?
NO, I like the blushes from Nichido and Ever Bilena better.
Notes:
- Use a better blush brush to achieve a flawless application.
- For everyday, use the matte blush and for night, go for the combination.
- Don't be afraid to build the color if needed.
