Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Naked

Thursday, May 24, 2012

Do you know that one of the makeup must-haves for teachers is a lipstick (in my case, lipsticks)? Lipsticks can easily brighten up a teacher's face despite stressful workload and sleepless nights. This is so serious that one of the rules in the school I am working in is for teachers to always wear lipsticks! For every offense, Php50.00 is deducted from our salary. It sounds easy but to tell you honestly, it's not. Teachers talk a lot which causes the lipstick to fade away. And when the principal sees you with faded lipstick, there flies your Php50.00. Haha!

One of the things I do to have a long-lasting lip color, aside from using long-wearing lipsticks, is to apply a lip liner under any lipstick. My current favorite is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Naked. Thank you, Windy of Stuff in Style!

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil
Smooth, creamy and waterproof -- our Lip Pencil keeps lipstick and gooey gloss in check.

I haven't heard much about UD Lip Pencils unlike the cult favorite, UD Eye Pencils. UD Lip Pencils claim to be as good as 24/7 Eye Pencils except that these are used on the lips.

What I LIKE about it:
  • Glides on smoothly -- No tugging of the lips needed!
  • Superb pigmentation!
  • Stays on for long hours!
  • Water-resistant and waterproof
  • Extends the staying power of lipsticks and lip glosses
  • Has no weird scent
  • The shade Naked is perfect for any makeup look!
  • Locally available though online shops like Stuff in Style

What I DON'T LIKE about it:
  • Too expensive for a lip liner -- It costs around Php850.00.

Will I repurchase?
NO.

As much as I love the Urban Decay 24/7 Lip Pencil, I don't think I will splurge on getting more shades. Good thing I got the must-have shade, Naked. :)
