ZIIIRO Watches

I don't wear a watch that often. If you are a longtime reader of this blog, then you probably know that I have this weird allergic reactions to the metal parts of a watch or any arm bling. I have yet to ask a professional to diagnose my skin's reaction to metals (It might be a case of folliculitis, though.), but the plain itchiness I feel on my arms after about an hour of wearing an arm bling with metals already pushed me away from wearing watches.

I thought I will never be again interested in wearing watches until I was introduced to ZIIIRO. Well, who wouldn't be captivated by a hand-less and marking-less watch? It is so unique that it uses rings that constantly change patterns to indicate time.

The concept of the first ZIIIRO watch is a clock face without hands or markings, but a constantly changing pattern of rings indicating the passing of time. The main theme is minimalism, so there are no distracting elements in the design, and after a short time you will acquire a feel for reading the time. -- text borrowed from www.ziiiro.com

I must admit, I was amazed on how the ZIIIRO watches look and the mechanism behind its uniqueness. I haven't seen anything that is at par with Ziiiro locally. I supposed, it is not yet that 'known' in the Philippines because I haven't seen it widely used. If not because of a friend who truly loves watches, especially those with unique designs (Hi, Phippo!), I wouldn't get a chance to know Ziiiro.

I have a handful of friends who are interested in getting a Ziiiro watch for themselves but tends to hold back just because, according to them, reading time might be quite a challenge. Honestly, at first, it is. But for sure, you'll get the hang of it in no time. And, expect a lot of stares from people around you and tons of inquiries on where you got your watch. I tell you, those might be possible challenges to overcome too. Hehe!

My skin's weird allergic reaction to watches, even with Ziiiro, is still occurring but I can totally bear with it as long as I have this unique arm bling to wear. Haha! How is that for sacrificing skin's condition just for fashion? Honestly, that is what I really do! :)

You might be asking how much these watches are? I am not fully aware on the details of the pricing but I am pretty sure everything is reasonably priced and is in the range of Php 6,500 to Php 11,000. Not bad for an awesome watch, right?!

This is not a sponsored post. How I wish, it is! I am no way connected to Ziiiro or Ziiiro Philippines, to make things clear. No one asked me nor paid me to make this post. I made this post for you to know that there is something unique in the watch market! :)

Share the good news to people you know who love watches! :)
