Event: Platter for 8 | Venice Piazza

Ever since I lost weight (I used to be 'heavy'!), I am quite hesitant in indulging myself with food. Honestly, I think I'll easily get back to the heavy phase whenever I eat. If it's a psychiatric problem, I better get myself checked. But an invitation came and I just couldn't resist. If ever I'll be gaining weight, I'll blame Gellie for sure. Joke. Labyu, Gel! :)

Last October 12, 2011, I, and 7 of my blogger friends, went to Venice Piazza to attend the Media Launch of Platter For 8. I never expected to be in the middle of food, food, and food. Fourteen participating restaurants each served their delightful platter for 8! Let the pictures tell the story!

Platter for 8: All Weekends of October 15 - November 2011
Imagine all your food favourites in just one plate!
At Venice Piazza, that delicious dream is a reality with the Party Platter promo. For only P800, get to taste all the bestsellers of the participating restaurants served in style good for groups of 8 or less.
Grab some grub from the 14 participating restaurants namely Blackwood Bistro, Carlo's Pizza, Empire Deli, KBOP, Kuse, Little Asia, Old Vine Grille, Pinchos Bar and Restaurant, Ramen Bar, The Red Crab Alimango House, Sol Gelato, Stackers Burger Cafe, Sweet Pea, and Tokyo Cafe.

I don't know where did we get our appetite that night but to tell you, we ate like there's no tomorrow! Each of us was given a checklist and was entitled to order 14 platters. Though we were tempted to, we chose only what we thought deserved a space in our stomachs. These are the chosen ones:

Sweet Pea -- James Dean Platter
The Red Crab Alimango's House -- Arianne's Platter
Little Asia Symphony of Flavors -- Little Asia's Asian Platter
Kuse -- Salo Salo
Stackers Burger Cafe -- Auss'm Party Platter
Carlo's Pizza -- Fantastic Four Platter
Tokyo Cafe -- Nakayoshi Platter
Ramen Bar -- Yoshi's Platter
Empire Deli -- Empire Italian's Platter
Sol Gelato -- Cheaper by the Dozen
As you can see, we ordered a lot! Since we couldn't finish everything all by ourselves, we called for help. Some of our friends came and some food were taken home by us.

Just to give you an evidence on how we looked after the event, here are some photos!

I enjoyed it so much that I am still in food coma until now. I have no good pictures because I was busy eating. Can you blame me? I have to go jogging til I lose all the pounds I gained in one happy night!
