Review | CURE Natural Aqua Gel

If you are a skin care freak like I am, then you know the importance of exfoliation. Even the person with the smoothest and clearest facial skin should exfoliate at least once a week to get rid of the dead skin layer that causes pimples, dark spots, wrinkles and other skin problems. Also, exfoliation will help the skin absorb the serums and moisturizers better.

I use a facial scrub as an exfoliant and I was okay with it until I learned that it can still damage the skin. I was willing to scale down my twice a week exfoliating to just one when I was introduced to Japan's most popular skincare product, CURE Natural Aqua Gel.

I have heard and read a lot of good things about CURE. Bloggers and YouTubers continuously rave about its wonders. I was so curious about it but didn't bother to purchase one for myself. Good thing, Beautybox Corp brought in the 'Legendary Product' in Japan!

I have been using CURE, twice a week, for about a month now. So far, I don't have anything negative to say about it. Yes, I love it THAT much!

CURE Natural Aqua Gel becomes liquid and has no tiny particles unlike the usual facial scrubs. With the product to be massaged on the skin in circular motions, dry skin will slowly be removed. Here is how:

1. Wash face then towel dry.

2. Put a pea-sized amount of CURE on fingertips. Yes, I know that that was not a pea-sized amount and not my fingertips. Haha!

3. Gently, massage the product onto skin in a circular motion until dead skin is removed. Dead skin will come in the appearance of tiny, white particles.

4. Rinse face with water.

It looks the same but my after face looks a bit brighter and cleaner.

What I LIKE:

  • easy to use
  • a little amount goes a very long way -- One bottle will last up to 4 months if used twice a week on the face!
  • does not make my skin feels dry and tight
  • has no artificial color
  • gentle on the skin
  • has a bit of alcohol scent -- I love the scent of alcohol. And, it goes away after some seconds.
  • leaves my skin feeling smooth and moisturized
  • gives no allergic reactions, even redness
  • The pump dispenses the right amount of product.
  • has an english translation at the back
  • now locally available in Beauty Bar stores and shop.beautybar.com.ph
What I DON'T LIKE:
  • a bit expensive at Php1,500.00
Will I repurchase?
YES!

Now, given my own experience with the product, I know why a bottle is sold every 12 seconds in Japan. In about a month of use, I noticed my skin became brighter and a lot smoother. It didn't give me any breakouts or any skin related problems. The price may be too steep for an exfoliant but why skimp on something that would make your skin a thousand times better? Take it from me, you will get your money's worth or even more with CURE Natural Aqua Gel.

Japanese makeup and cosmetics are the bomb!
