On My Nails: Girl Stuff Nail Polish in Judy and Pretty in Pink

If you have been a long time reader of my blog, you probably know the insecurities I have with my nails. I won't dwell too much on that but I am glad to say that I am slowly overcoming those insecurities by finding ways on how to somehow make my nails beautiful! So no more I-should-hide-hands-so-people-won't look-at-my-hands kind of thinking! Lately, I am growing my nails elegantly long and putting bold, striking colors that would attract people to look at the positive and pretty side of my nails rather than those of negatives. But of course, alongside that is a consequence, my nails turned yellowish. I had to stop putting on nail polish for a while until I get acquainted to the lacquers that promise to not have toxic chemicals that could damage the nails.

There are so many nail polishes in the market that are free from harmful chemicals and are safe to use but most cling to an expensive price tags (at least for me, who likes changing nail polish colors like every week!). But Girl Stuff is an exception! Girl Stuff nail polishes are FREE from harmful chemicals, such as toluene, di-butyl phthtalate and formaldehyde (the one responsible for yellowing of the nails), are streak-free and dry quickly but sold within the price range of Php 99.75 (regular nail polishes and washable nail polishes ) - Php 249.75 (magnetic nail polishes). Nail polishes that belong to collections only cost Php 149.75.

I have a few shades of the Girl Stuff regular nail polish and 3 magnetic nail polishes. I will feature each shade in separate posts but for now, let me share to you the colors that make my nails attractive and interesting these past few days.

Judy, an almost mettalic, blue nail polish that belongs to the Holiday Collection is a sure stand out. I never fail to receive compliments on how electrifying it looks on my nails. To break the monotony, I applied Pretty in Pink, a matte pink nail polish on my ring finger.

Girl Stuff has wide range of nail polish shades, over 50, if I am not mistaken. From matte to sparkling, from nudes to pastels, they have it. They also have washable nail polished which are ideal for kids and magnetic nail polishes which give instant nail art kick. Girl Stuff nail polishes are imported from France and bottled in Manila, hence, the much affordable price.

Two (2) coats are enough to get an opaque color. It is touch-dry in about a minute and completely dry in just about 3 minutes. Applying a top coat can only be an option since it lasts without chipping for, more or less, 3 days. Removing it is not a hassle as well! The most important is, it does not make my nails yellow and is safe to use! Yes, even everyday! But I suggest you give your nails some time to rest.

Girl Stuff is available at SM Mall of Asia (2nd Floor, near Cinema), SM North Edsa Main Mall (2nd Floor, in front of Barrio Fiesta), SM Megamall (2nd Floor Building A), SM Department Stores and Rustans Department Stores.
