Tony Moly Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm

Before my skin condition went berserk, I was in the midst of trying new face products and one of the many I was trying and loving then was the Tony Moly Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm

I am not so much of a fan of CC creams. Though I like the luminosity it gives the skin, I find most to be too white and too luminous for my liking. Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive in trying the Tony Moly Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm but the uniqueness of its packaging got me.

Unlike the usual CC creams,  the Tony Moly Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm comes in a cute pact. It claims to be a 5-in-1 product -- primer, moisturizer, pore filler, bb cream and aura effect. The product has 2 swirls: the beige is the actual CC cream and the white is the moisturizer.

I got the shade Natural Beige. The beige swirl looks perfect on my skin but once it mixes with the moisturizer, it becomes a tad white for me. Still bearable, though. It gives my skin a nice coverage in just one layer. Layering it up covers most of my skin's blemishes. The finish is semi-matte but it gives a luminous effect making the skin appear smooth and glowing.

I LIKE that it ...
  • comes in a compact.
  • is travel-friendly.
  • has a sponge that works is perfect for the job. The compact also has a mirror!
  • gives a nice coverage.
  • stays on for long hours, about 5-7 hours on my skin.
  • makes my skin look glowing and luminous.
  • is able to cover minor skin blemishes.
  • easy to apply.
  • can be used as a primer.
  • is moisturizing on the skin.
  • is lightweight.
  • doesn't feel greasy.
  • is available in all Tony Moly stores for Php948.00.

I DON'T LIKE that it ...
  • has no SPF.

This is how the Tony Moly Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm fares on me. I love using it as an under eye concealer because it highlights the area making my face look awake and radiant. It doesn't crease too! Since the shade Natural Beige look a bit white on me, I balance the look with a bronzer. For a flawless finish, using concealer on blemishes might still be needed. In my case, I am pretty good with the coverage it gives.

The Tony Moly Luminous Baby Aura CC Balm did change my view on CC creams. This compact is now a staple in my everyday kit and I can't wait to have my skin totally healed so I can use this baby again!
