M&Co 3D Traceless Concealer in Soft Oriental

Do you know that M&Co has makeup? I don't until I saw the latest M&Co brochure. I have seen M&Co clothing but I never thought they also carry cosmetics. At first, I was a little hesitant to try the makeup but upon seeing the prices, I immediately looked for a pen and a paper and started listing my orders.

I got 3 items but I'll first share with you my thoughts on the M&Co 3D Traceless Concealer.

I don't need another concealer because I am head over heels with my Koh Gen Do Moisture Concealer (read the review HERE) and I have a couple in my kit that need some more loving.

For its price of Php180.00, you get 17g of product. It is a lot compared to the usual concealers in a jar. I was highly skeptic in trying  this concealer mainly because of two reasons: (1) M&Co is not known for its makeup and (2) the price is too inexpensive for it to work good.

I got the shade Soft Oriental because, just by looking at pictures, I think it is the closest to my skin tone. The pan looks like a pressed powder refill and comes with a powder sponge too.

So I should not have relied too much on pictures because based on the swatch below, you can say that Soft Oriental is too light for me.

Still, I used it on my face to conceal my dark circles and discolorations. I used it on top of the M&Co Silk Cream Liquid Foundation which I'll post a review next.

M&Co 3D Traceless Concealer:
Cream based traceless perfecting concealer in professionally chosen skin blending shades. Dramatically evens out skin tones, conceal imperfections and improves complexion.

What I LIKE about it:
  • Inexpensive! -- A 17g concealer for only Php180.00?! Crazy!
  • Creamy consistency
  • Easy to apply and to blend
  • No weird scent
  • Does conceal dark circles and cover imperfections
  • Unique packaging -- It is my first time to see a concealer in a pan. :)
  • Important dates are printed on the box

What I DON'T LIKE about it:
  • The sponge included does not perform its job.
  • Does not last long
  • Has a tendency to cake if not blended and set properly
  • Limited shades available
  • Not as opaque as other concealers
  • Faulty information on the box -- See what's wrong?!

Will I repurchase?
YES! I'll get the other shades!

Notes:
  1. For fuller coverage, layer the concealer.
  2. Set the concealer in place with a powder.
  3. Since only limited shades are available, feel free to mix the concealer to match it with your skin tone.
  4. Use a brush or a finger to apply the concealer.

I am planning to get all the shades available for future use on clients. This may not be the best concealer in the market but it will be a great starter and a part of my collection. Stay tuned for more M&Co Cosmetics reviews!
