FOTD: A Reason to Start A New Beginning

I turned 27 exactly a week ago. I didn't have anything grand. A simple yet very intimate family dinner summed the day up. Realizations started to kick in the moment I lay on my bed. My wishes were overflowing, material and immaterial, but one thing stood out  and that is to have a happy and relaxed new year in my life!

And because I wanted to attract happiness into my system, I made sure to incorporate colors in my birthday look. I was initially planning to wear something colorful but I really wanted to wear my batman leggings from Romwe. After a couple of trials and errors with matching the leggings with something colorful, I ended up wearing an all black ensemble. Yes, unexpected to someone celebrating her birthday. Good thing, I don't mind applying loud colors on my face  because I was able to still include the colors through my eye makeup.

Since I don't want my makeup to look normal on my birthday, I put the colors under my eye. The dramatic demi lashes added that kick which made me look, according to some, like a kpop star.

And truly, the makeup look I did jump-started my mission of getting the long lost happiness back. The color under my eye was so eye-catching the I get a lot of stare from people I came close to. I didn't care, honestly. It was my birthday, in the first place!

This chubby-cheeked girl would like to thank you (You all know who you are!) for the greetings and well-wishes! I am so excited to know what is in store for my on my 27th year! Bring it on, darling! :)
