Makeup Look: Toni G's Bridal Makeup Look with #Mustcara

Every time I attend weddings or see wedding photos on my social networks' feeds, my eyes get instantly drawn to the makeup of the bride and her entourage. If I get smitten with how the bride looks,  I would try my best to guess what the makeup artist used on her,  rummage my stash and try to recreate the look. I, basically, did the same thing when I saw Toni Gonzaga's bridal look.

I have always adored the way she looks on TV -- doll eyes, heavily contoured face, bold lips -- but she looked beautifully different on her wedding day. No hints of how doll she is on TV, it was just her and nothing but her. Everything was kept simple, Krist Bansuelo (her makeup artist) just made her look like who she really is in real life, just a bit enhanced.

Krist Bansuelo used mostly drusgtore products on Toni on her big day. Like I always tell you, no need to burn savings just to look beautiful! I have some of the products Krist used on Toni so I thought of recreating the look.

I realized that my take on Toni's Bridal Makeup Look is far from similar to her actual makeup. Amsari! Let us just think I had put a dash of myself in the look, hence, the output. Palusot.

Anyhow,  here's how I achieved the look:
1. Start with a clean base.
Hydrate  the skin. I know you know why. Then conceal undereye circles and imperfections. If you have clear, smooth skin, ditch the foundation. In my case, I find the need of a light coverage so I use a BB cream and a bit of powder.

2. Lightly contour the hallow of the cheeks and apply blush.
Add some dimension to the face by contouring. You don't have to play much with your contour powder for you want to look like you on your big day (unless you are sporting a Kim K look!).

 3. Define brows.
You HAVE to!

4. Apply pearl eyeshadow on the center of the lids.
This trick will reflect light.
5. Use a dark brown eyeshadow on the outer-V.

6. Use the same dark brown eyeshadow to contour the crease. Blend.

7. Bring the same color on the lower lash line.

8. Line the eyes with a black gel eyeliner.
Make sure that the eyeliner will not smudge!
9. Apply mascara. Loads of it!

10. Line the inner rim of the eyes with a flesh-colored eyeliner.

11. Finish off the look with your choice of lip color.
I decided to have deep rose pink lips.
This look may be way different from what Toni wore on her big day but still I am mesmerized how this look was achieved with purely drugstore products. :) Oh, if there's one thing Toni and I have in common, it would be our prominent jaw lines!
