Look: Vixen

Once in a while, you have to unleashed the vixen in you.
You have to stay strong and fight for what you think is right.

This look was inspired by a vixen. I love how the word vixen shouts strength and courage. I made this look to show how a vixen can look sexy and elegant at the same time. Of course, this is not meant to be an everyday look. But hey, Halloween is coming near and you may want to look like vixen-ish or vampire-ish! :)

I paired up a strong eye makeup with very bold lips.

1. Redefine eyebrows and prime the lids. -- Skip foundation first because we are working with dark eyeshadows.

2. Pat on an pearl-colored eyeshadow. -- This pearl eyeshadow will balance out the darkness of the eyeshadows we will be using later on.

3. Outline the crease and the outer-V with a black eyeshadow. -- You may want to do this step little by little until you get the color intensity that you want.

4. Blend! -- I went for a cat-eye shape.

5. For monolids, open your eyes often to see of the colors are showing up. Add more color if needed.

6. Thickly line the eyes with a black gel liner. -- You may use a liquid eyeliner if you wish to. Go for a cat-eye!

Don't worry if its a little messy at this point. It will be cleaned when you put on foundation later on.

7. Emphasize the shape of the eyes by lining. Go up to the inner half of the lower lash line-- I can't put this step into words. Just do so! Haha!

8. Smoke out the eyeliner with a black eyeshadow.

9. Line the outer half of the lower lash line with a dark pink eyeshadow. -- This will just add color to the look. Too much black may be too overwhelming.

10. Add a shimmering white eyeshadow on the inner tearducts. -- This will open up the eyes.

11. Highlight browbones.

12. Curl lashes, apply mascara and put on false eyelashes. -- You may skip the false eyelashes but this will make the look sexier.

13. Apply foundation, conceal undereyes and blemishes, and set everything with powder. -- Since this look is vampire-ish/vixen-ish, you may want to apply a slightly lighter foundation. At this point, clean the face in case there are fall outs.

14. Heavily contour the face, nose and jaws.

15. Finish the look with a plum-colored lipstick. -- For a sexier touch, emphasize the shape of the lips, especially the cupid's bow.

And you're DONE

Be a sexy vixen!

Don't worry, this look will still look good even if you're smiling!

Stay tuned for more fierce looks! I am planning to do themed makeup looks for Halloween, what look should I do first? :)
