Montagne Jeunesse Spa Facial Fabric Aloe Vera Tonic

After a quick beach getaway I had with my friends, I noticed that my skin felt drier than usual. My trusted moisturizer seemed slow reacting to the problem. I had to go over my stash to see if there was something that could be of help. Fourtunately, I have a good number of facial masks and one of which was the Montagne Jeunesse Spa Facial Fabric Aloe Vera Tonic.

I chose this over the other masques I have because it claims to be ultra soothing, calming, relaxing, anti-stress, and skin softening -- basically, what I needed! After cleansing, I immediately opened a pack and pop the masque onto my dry face. To make use of the waiting time, I read a LET review book. :)

Presenting Rey Boom-Boom Baustista Mysterio! Haha!
Just like the picture on the packaging, the masques has this cute and summer-y leaves design. It's shouting summeeeer! I had the hardest time making it fit to my face, especially on my chin area. I even held the loose part for a couple of minutes so my chin area would get some goodness from the masque.

After 5 to 10 minutes, I took off the masque and massage the liquid onto my skin. It felt good, really. The moisture was as if getting into the grooves of my dry skin. Also, the cool feel of the masques was more than relaxing.

The good thoughts about this masque were change when I woke up the morning after. A huge pimple grew on top of my left eyebrow and there were small bumps on my cheeks. Honestly, it was horrible. So horrible that I won't share pictures of it! :(

What I LIKE about it:
  • Inexpensive -- Only Php89.00 each in leading department stores. I got this for free, though! :)
  • Easy to use
  • Smells good
  • Moisturizing
  • Very soothing and relaxing
  • Cute designs! :)
  • Available in Watson's and other department stores

What I DON'T LIKE about it:
  • It broke me out!

Will I repurchase?
NO! I don't want more pimples on my face. :(

Check out Montagne Jeunesse Facebook page HERE for more information!

Now, the pimple and tiny bumps on my face are starting to heal. Thank goodness!
