Review | Artdeco Art Couture Lipstick in 265 Cream Spring Fever

Yesterday, I celebrated my 27th birthday! Thinking about it, I just realized that, despite the trials and problems that came, I still have a lot to be thankful for. I won't go into details because I might end up drowning into my own tears but, I want to thank you! Yes you, people who read my blog! Thank you for supporting my passion of talking about vanity and everything in between that. Cheesy but true. :) Happy belated birthday to me!

Because I am on a roll of showing my gratitude, I will be sharing to you my thoughts on a lipstick that I am thankful to have been created -- the Artdeco Art Couture Lipstick in 265 Cream Spring Fever.

ARTDECO Art Couture Lipstick -- the consummation of the new lipstick generation, it combines color, gloss and incomparable ease of application in a smooth lip make-up. The unique formulation glides smoothly over the lips, conveying and incomparable creamy feeling and a sensual finish.

Though I am a fan of bold, matte lipsticks, the Artdeco Art Couture Lipstick in Cream Spring Fever became an instant favorite because of its creamy texture and very feminine shade. 

What I LIKE:

• The sleek, black packaging shouts elegance. It is also very sturdy.
• The shade, Cream Spring Fever, is perfect for everyday use. The creamy color is good to be paired with any makeup look.
• It glides smoothly on the lips, no tugging and pulling needed.
• It is very creamy but not to the extent it melts easily.
• It doesn't dry my lips.
• It smells good!
• It gives color in one swipe.
• Available in all Beauty Bar stores and at shop.beautybar.com.ph.

What I DON'T LIKE:

• A bit expensive (though still affordable) at Php895.00 or about $22.
• There are only 2 shades available. -- Cream Sweet Red and Cream Spring Fever
• It only stays on the lips for about 3 hours. It goes away when I eat/drink though a good lip primer helps to make it last longer.

Will I repurchase?

Most probably! I, actually, am torn between yes and no. Yes, because I like it so much and no, because I might find an almost the same shade in a much lesser price. I hope you understand. Hehe!

I know, I know. This weekend, I'll go and have my upper lip threaded.

I love the Artdeco Art Couture Lipstick in Cream Spring Fever so much that it has not left my makeup kit since the first use. I usually reach out for this lipstick whenever I am in doubt of what color to use for the day.  The very feminine pink shade is perfect for everyday use and the creamy texture is a huge plus!
