Review : Neutrogena Light Night Cream

I consider myself to be lucky enough to not have major issues with my skin, especially on the face. Thank God for the wonderful genes and for the skincare products that happen to work on me! Don't get me wrong, I still have those pimple marks, wrinkles and fine lines to fight against. It just so happen the are already under control, thus, they no longer expose themselves that much.

I have been talking a lot about the importance of proper skincare but I don't think I have posted enough reviews and features of skincare products. Honestly, I don't have anything special in my skincare routine. I just stick to the usual cleanse, tone, moisturize and sunblock type of routine (twice a day) which, I think, already do wonders on my skin. But lately, I noticed that the moisturizing part at night is no longer enough to keep my face hydrated until the next morning. Here enters a night cream. I am currently using and loving the Neutrogena Light Night Cream.

All I thought a moisturizer can work as a night cream but boy, I was wrong. I noticed that night creams have thicker formula compared to the usual moisturizers to keep the skin hydrated overnight.

Neutrogena Light Night Cream is a light yet effective overnight cream that delivers hydration while you sleep.
Long-lasting moisturization. This light, non-greasy formula absorbs quickly into skin to provide an immediate surge of moisture, delivering continuous hydration while you sleep. Helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Skin is not only softer and smoother, but looks healthier and more radiant.
Won't clog pores. Non-comedogenic, so it won't clog pores that can cause skin to break out.

What I LIKE:
  • It is fairly affordable at Php654.00 (about $16.00) for 60g of product.
  • A little goes a very long way. I just dab a pea-sized amount on the 5 areas of my face to moisturize my entire mug.
  • It is very easy to spread.
  • It feels light on the skin.
  • Non-greasy.
  • It is fragrance-free. Actually, the scent it has is more like of the unscented baby lotions.
  • It is free from alcohol.
  • It is just white. No fancy color.
  • I didn't have any breakout or any skin-related problems.
  • My skin feels soft, smooth and still moisturized the morning after I apply this on.
  • Available in departments stores and online via Neutrogena's Facebook store.

What I DON'T LIKE:
  • I have to dip my finger into the jar to get the product.
  • Not much of a problem, though, but I find the jar a bit bulky for travel. I just transfer some of the product into a smaller jar whenever I travel.

Will I repurchase?
YES!

After using it for more than a month, together with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel SPF 30++ as my daily moisturizer, I noticed that the Nutrogena Light Night Cream do help in keeping my skin moisturized throughout the day. I don't know how important a night cream is until I used this one. I am still looking forward in trying the night cream in the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line, if there is!

Because I feel my skin looks healthier and smoother, I can flaunt my face without any foundation nor BB cream on. Here is my everyday look with just the Garnier BB Eye Roll-on, Shiseido Natural Eyebrow Pencil and Etude House Sweet Recipe Candy Stick.
