Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color in RD301 Raspberry Mousse Cake

I love using products that are multifunctional! They save me from lugging around too many stuff. Good thing there are brands that produce such products. Thank you! Lately, I am loving the Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color in RD301 Raspberry Mousse Cake (what a mouthful!) which can be used as an eyeshadow, a blush and a lipcolor.

I haven't used this all over color on my lids just because I am still not that courageous to sport a red eyeshadow. But I toally abuse this product as a blush and lip color. Abuse means I use it almost every single day this past weeks!

The red tint looks too harsh but with the right amount of product and proper blending, it sure gives a natural-looking flush. The following swatches are taken under different kinds of lighting.

Allure: Cream textured color for lips, cheeks and eyes in delicious cupcake designs.

What I LIKE:

  • Affordable at only Php478.00 for 10 grams of product. It is a lot thinking that you only need a few dots every use.
  • Gives a natural-looking flush on the cheeks and a my-lips-but-better kind of color on the lips
  • Very easy to blend
  • Does not feel sticky
  • The colors stays on the entire day!
  • Smells like a berry-flavored candy
  • I totally love that it is multi-functional!
  • The cute packing fits well in my kit.

What I DON'T LIKE:
  • Exaggerates the dryness of my lips

Will I repurchase?
YES!

I just dab about 3 dots on each of my cheeks and blend everything away to get the natural looking blush just like what I have on the above photo. It's creamy texture might slide off due to intense heat so as remedy, I set it with a powder that is almost the same shade as it is.

I love this product so much that it has become a staple in my kit ever since I first used it. It is amazing how the color stays on despite the heat without feeling sticky. I was never a fan of cream-textured blushes until I was introduced to this baby. I am a happy convert! :)

I still have 2 shades in my stash,  OR201 Orange Choux Cake and PK002 Strawberry Chiffon Cake, awaiting to be tried and used. I will soon be sharing how those shades fare on me so stay tuned! :)

Do you have a cream-textured blush in your stash? Which is your favorite? :)
