K-Palette Real Lasting Eyepencil 24h

Given a chance to choose one type of eyeliner I will use for the rest of my life, it would be the one in liquid form. I like how most liquid eyeliners stay on for long hours, are waterproof, and are easy to apply. I know there are gel eyeliners that perform the same, but the application can be a trick. Pencil eyeliners are the easiest to apply but I hate how most crease, smudge and tug my lids.

As you could realize by now, I am not a fan of pencil eyeliners. Most of the eyeliner pencils I have used crease and smudge. I still keep a few in my stash but I reserve their uses for lining the waterlines and tightlining, and as a base whenever I do an intense smokey eye. But as the main product to line my eyes, I would say no to an eyeliner pencil.

By all these thoughts I have for an eyepencil, you couldn't blame if I was apprehensive in trying the K-Palette Real Lasting Eyepencil 24h. Though I am head over heels with its liquid counterpart, the Real Lasting Eyeliner (which I need to have an updated review on), its claim to be smudgeproof and waterproof is too much for an eyepencil. But since it is from K-Palette, a brand known for its long-lasting products, I know that the claim has a basis.

1 Day Tattoo brings you the best of K-Palette once again. We now have the 24H Real Lasting Eyepencil; another promising product for its richness of the color, glossiness and making it longer lasting. In addition, it is comprised of soft pencil tip to make application easier. K-Palette Real Lasting Eyepencil is waterproof and holds strong resistance against water, sweat and sebum. In addition, the eyepencil now contains beauty essences for your eye care while you apply makeup! This is a must have product if you want to complete your eye look.

What I LIKE:
  • It comes in a twist-type pen so no need for a sharpener. Say no to product wastage too!
  • The soft lead gives off an intense pigmentation in just one swipe!
  • It does not transfer on to my upper eyelid.
  • It stays on for long hours without smudging. -- Bye panda eyes!
  • Waterproof!
  • It can be used to tightline and to line the waterlines. It stays on for a decent amount of time too.
  • No tugging of the eyes needed when lining.
  • It can be removed easily using warm water or any makeup remover.
  • It is available at Beauty Bar stores and online at shop.beautybar.com.ph for only Php 795.00.

What I DON'T LIKE:
  • It fades after 6 hours of use. But hey, 6 hours is a long time already!
  • It can't be used to create sharp-edged cat-eye look because of its rounded tip.
  • It is too soft that it breaks once twisted more than 2mm long.
  • It is only available in 2 shades.

Will I repurchase?
YES!

Left: Dark Brown Right: Super Black
I rubbed it hard but it stayed on pretty well.

It repels water!

It gets rubbed off but most of the color stays on. Amazing!

Super Black
Deep Brown

After 6 hours of use, it appears to be a bit faded than first applied. Please take note that I didn't use a primer prior to application of the K-Palette Real Lasting Eyepencil.

I must admit, K-Palette Real Lasting Eyepencil changed my views towards eyepencils. It holds up pretty well on its claim that it is waterproof and smudgeproof. I may not still be a total convert but I can say that I will be using this eyepencil on days I want my liner to look decent and stay on for hours without worrying about having raccoon eyes at the end of the day.

To ensure that its solid black (or brown) color will last for a very long time, better if a primer is used underneath it. But other than my not-so-much-of-a-problem issue with fading, this liner works perfect
