Cathy Doll's 1st Anniversary + New Products Launch

It was May 2016 when the Philippines welcomed Cathy Doll. The beauty market didn't have a hard time loving the brand as it beams with great products at affordable price points. Fast forward to a year later, after many product launches and people with continuous support to the brand, Cathy Doll celebrates its first anniversary through a gathering and new product launches.

Guests were All Dolled Up to celebrate a milestone of Cathy Doll. Spatzle in Shangri-la Mall were dressed in a Boho Chic theme and the newest products of Cathy Doll were all over the place for guests to play around with it.

Aside from the Cathy Doll's 1st anniversary celebration, the highlight of the event was the launch of the newest products from the brand. The Nude Me collection and more new products were formally introduced to the guests and everyone was so excited to try yet another great products from Cathy Doll.

I will be having a separate post on each of these products but let me give you some preview.

Cathy Doll Nude Me Liquid Matte Lipstick (Php 399.00)

When they said matte, they weren't joking! These lipsticks are seriously matte, smudge-proof and kiss-proof. They apply smoothly on the lips too. But since they are dropdead matte, make sure to apply a lip balm underneath to prevent flaking.

Due to shipping delay, we only got to try 6 out the 9 shades in the collection. The shades not in the photos are 05 Peach Me, 06 Dusty Rose and 08 Aggie Maroon. 

Cathy Doll Nude Me Eyeshadow Palette (Php 499.00)

No, nude eyeshadow palettes will never go out of style. Cathy Doll releases 3 palettes - Smoky, Nude, and Pink Champagne -  and each has 12 eyeshadows in it. The colors are vivid and are long-wearing even without a primer!

Cathy Doll Eyebrow Cara (Php 199.00)

Because #KilayIsLife, Cathy Doll has to have an eyebrow mascara to achieve those eyebrows on fleek. These eyebrow mascaras go on creamy but dry quick to set the brows in place without making it look stiff. There are 4 shades available: Milk Chocolate. Dark Chocolate, Creamy Caramel and Hazelnut.

I got the shade Hazelnut which is, I think, too light for my liking but let see if it'll work. :)

Cathy Doll Sculpting Highlight and Shading Cushion SPF50 PA+++ (Php 749.00)

If there's one product that I really wanted to try from the new releases, it would be this cushion. Different from the usual cushions that we know, the Sculpting Highlight and Shading Cushion offers a 3-dimensional contour in a cushion form. Inside it are 2 products - highlight and contour - that gives a sculpted in an easy dab-dab-dab motion. And what seals the deal is that these are sweat-proof and water-proof and with SPF50 sun protection. Cool, isn't it?

The Sculpting Highlight and Contour Cushion are available in 2 shades: Fair Skin and Honey Skin.
