Purederm Make-Up Cleansing Tissues

Sorry for the lack of posts! I have been very busy with school stuff that I can't even find the time to sleep and rest. The pains of a graduating student! I'll sure be back to regular blogging as soon as these hell weeks end! :)

Summer is just around the corner! My friends and I are currently planning on going to Apo Reef this coming holidays. I am more than excited to wear my bikinis! When travelling, I know that each one of us has this travel essentials. Being a makeup junkie, I make sure that I bring makeup and makeup removers alongside the usual suspects of my travel bag. Yes, I bring and wear makeup on trips!

Though I need to always bring a makeup remover, I hate how bulky the bottles is so I always end up bringing makeup remover wipes with me. I find makeup wipes to be less effective than actual makeup removers! A couple of weeks back, I saw a cutie-patootie pink pack lying in one corner. I went giddy when I read the words ‘make-up cleansing tissues’.

This Purederm Make-Up Cleansing Tissues costs only Php29.00 for 15 wipes. Definitely a steal for makeup remover wipes! I have never seen a makeup remover wipes' pack as little as this.

This will sure fit in whatever makeup kit! Of course, the tissues inside are also small to complement its packaging. Using my hand as a basis, this is how small each wipe is:

Please take note that my hands are big for a lady. :)
Purederm Make-Up Cleansing Tissues:
Remove makeup in one step.
Deep cleansing and moisturizing.
Green Tea Extract
Make-up Cleansing Tissues thoroughly remove eyeliner, shadow, lipstick and blush – even waterproof mascara – without skin irritation. This pocket type package is convenient to handle and use during trip or simple outdoor activities.

Admit it, not all cute things work awesome so the real test on these wipes will be about how effectively it can remove makeup. I swiped the most budge-proof, smudge-proof and waterproof makeup I have on the back of my hand to see how the Purederm Make-Up Cleansing Tissues will work on them.

Top to bottom: ELF Cream Eyeliner, Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara
and K-Palette 24/7 Tattoo Eyeliner.
With just one go, the lines looked like this:

The ELF Cream Eyeliner was a tough one to work at but the Bobbi Brown mascara and the K-Palette eyeliner were gone with just one wipe. Pretty awesome, huh?

What I LIKE about it:
  • Inexpensive -- For only Php29.00, you'll get 15 tissues. It's like getting each tissue for only Php1.93!
  • Small and cute packaging
  • Resealable
  • Perfect for travels and my on-the-go makeup remover needs
  • I love how its smells!
  • Does not dry my skin
  • Can effectively remove some makeup -- Take note of the word 'some'.
  • Available in Watsons

What I DON'T LIKE about it:
  • I need about 2-3 tissues to remove all the makeup I use.
  • It is still not enough to entirely clean my eye makeup especially if I use a gel liner and a very long-wear mascara.
Yes, I like it! For its cheap price, this incredibly works good. Though there are times I still feel the need to use a 'real' makeup remover, I think these wipes are still worth a try. :)
