Maybelline Creamy Matte | The Creamiest Matte Lipstick of Them All

Staying power and texture are two of the things I require for a lipstick to possess. Let us admit it, for the longest time, a tube can only have only one of those attributes. You want the color to stay for long hours? Make sure you're ready to bear with the dryness of your lips come the first hours of application. You like something that glides on smoothly and makes your lips looking plump and healthy? Oh well, they transfer easily and don't last for more than 3 hours.

What used to thought of as impossible was brought to reality. Marrying long-lasting color and texture, Maybelline New York brings in Creamy Mattes from ColorSensational, the creamiest matte lipstick of them all!

Creamy Matte made its way to the beauty scene last year when beauty bloggers and Youtube makeup gurus started gushing about it. It has then became a staple in every woman around the world because of its ultra pigmentation and creamy, smooth texture. Finally, the global best-selling matte lipsticks have arrived in the local shores and are bound to stay long!

Alongside pigmentation and texture, Creamy Matte flaunts it wide range of color selections. From the boldest red to the loudest violet, we would sure find the one that best suits us. 

Since I have been praying for it to be brought in by Maybelline Philippines, my excitement went overboard when, finally, these babies got into my hands. Despite having tons of lipsticks waiting to be opened and tried, I caught myself opening these two and giving it a spin.

The name 681 Vibrant Violet says it all. It has the vibe of MAC Heroine for a quarter of the price. 

660 Touch of Spice is perfect for the I-want-everyone-to-know-that-I-am-wearing-lipstick-but-not that-loud-kind- please days. Its mauve color is made even more beautiful with hints of pink in it.

The swatches on my hand don't seem to give justice on how beautiful they are on the lips. :(

Indeed, Maybelline has revolutionized matte lipsticks. Creamy Matte gives off intense color in one swipe without tugging. Its buttery texture makes it glide smoothly on the lips.Once it sets, it stay intact for sure.

The only drawback, for me at least, is its scent. It smells different, but not bothering. Play-doh? :)

660 Touch of Spice

Touch of Spice appears to be a toned-down Kylie Jenner lips on me. It gives me that sultry look in an instant.

681 Vibrant Violet

A loud and bold color, you ask? Then look at how vibrant Vibrant Violet is. This shade is such an eye turner! Now, there is no need to spend thousands for a shade like this!

I now understand why the Maybelline Creamy Matte (Php 299.00) is a favorite of women around the world! The pigmentation it has is off the chart, no doubt. The way its glides on the lips is like a dream. Let us not talk about its staying power because it is a plus too! Definitely, Maybelline has brought in the creamiest matte lipstick of them all! And for its price, we no longer have a reason to not get all the shades available! :)
