Beauty is not just about how you look but how you carry yourself. It is
not just about skincare and makeup but more of about confidence.

few days ago, I took confidence in a level which I don't usually step
on -- I approached someone and gave her a gift. For the Mission #1 of
Jergens 7-Day Challenge, I already knew whom to give a bottle of
Jergens.
Ma.
Lourdes Escober, or Ate Des as people fondly call her, is one of the
most hardworking people I know. She gets in school first to make sure
everything is set for the classes and leaves last to prepare everything
for the next day. She is not a stranger to me. I know her name, she
knows mine. Our relationship ends there, actually.
Last Friday, she was shocked when I approached her and gave a bottle of Jergens. "Bakit po? (What is this for?)", she asked me. I didn't know what to answer, I just replied, "basta para sa iyo yan, Ate! (It is for you, Ate!)" I
chose her because she deserves it. After a day's work, her body needs
pampering and I am pretty sure that Jergens will provide moisture and
softness her skin needs. We parted ways with me bringing a sight of her
priceless smile and with her holding tight to her bottle of moisture.
