Good luck, everyone! :)

Another GoNaturals product review for you all! I got the GoNaturals Lip Replenishing Balm in Berry Red together with the Lip Sugar Scrub, which I reviewed here, last Thursday. I bought these two with the hope they'll be a good tandem to 'cure' my dry and flaky lips. I have been loving the lip sugar scrub that I use it almost everyday without even considering the thought of too much scrubbing may cause a little harm. I actually don't care, it works perfectly for me. That's how crazy I am!

There is nothing to be excited about this lip balm except its price and it being organic. It looks like the same old lip balms that we see wherever. But hey, it is only Php49.00 (~$1) and you get 4 grams of product. A price you can't resist trying. Anyways, it caught me with its claim that it gives a happy glow to the lips. I don't own any lip balms that has a tint because most of it has a sweet taste and that I don't like much. I happily contented with my Mentholatum Medicated Lip Stick which was from Japan and was given by Edge. Is it the same with the Mentholatum balms being sold in Watsons? That is what I have to find out. I got this just for the sake of trying. If I don't like it at the end, then I won't regret it that much. Would you expect it to wok for its price? :)

I got Berry Red because it would look natural on my lips than the pink one. It is also available in natural. I was expecting it to be as pigmented as it looks on its tube but it is not. When swiped, it just looks like this:

It may have that littlest tint but it is not as showy on my lips. I sometimes think it has no color at all though it gives a little kick. When I say little, I mean little. Anyways, it only says that it gives a glow. Maybe that is what they mean by glow. I should've have bought a lipstick if the only think I want is color! Haha!

GoNaturals says:
  •  Enriched with Shea butter, White lotus, Black Organic Rice and Coconut Essences
  • Soothes, heals, and moisturizes dry, flaky and chapped lips.
  • 100% Naturals Lip Replenishing Balm with Happy glow benefit!

What I LIKE about this product:
  • Inexpensive -- 4 grams for only Php49.00!
  • Organic -- Too much chemicals is harmful, remember?
  • Gives a 'happy'  glow --  Gives a hint of color but don't expect much.
  • Keep my lips moisturized for a long time -- Longer that any other balms I owned.
  • Smells and tastes good -- Plus!
  • Available in Robinson's Department Stores

What I DON'T LIKE about this product:
  • Sticky -- Super!
  • Lid does not close tightly -- I usually find it open inside my pouch.

Will I repurchase?
NO! I will just try Lip Ice products which I read and heard good reviews of. :)

Notes:
  1. If you are not a fan of sticky/oily lip balms, ditch the idea of trying this. You'll just hate it.
  2. I am still on the process of using it to let it prove itself, hoping that it'll get better when I reach the midway of the product. I always do that. I don't believe with 'first impression lasts' with the products I bought just because I have tried and tested products that I hated at first but ended up liking/loving.
  3. I haven't tried using a lipstick on top of this balm. It's stickiness might let the color slide off my lips.

Have you tried using tinted lip balms?:)
