Tutorial : Green Under

Happy Monday! Since we are already on the start of a new school year, I decided to do a makeup look that can be worn on a school day...NOT. This look is totally not appropriate for school unless you want all eyes to be on you. Well, all eyes were on me when I wore this out one random day of errands.

As I was doing my makeup one day, I decided to go all the way with colors. I love how the different shades of green add a hint of fun to my makeup that day. I got a lot of what-is-wrong-with-you kind of stares from people but I didn't care that much since I was pretty sure that they were looking at me just because my makeup was way too beautiful though unusual. Confidence at its finest! Haha!

It looks weird but it looks fun, right? Please say yes! If you want to know how easy it is to do, keep reading! :)
START:
1. Prep the skin. Apply a foundation or bb cream and conceal imperfections. Having a perfect base on this kind of look is important because you want the focus to be on the colors not the blemishes.

2. Define the eyebrows.

 3. Apply an eyeshadow primer all over the lid.

4. Pat on a shimmery peach eyeshadow on the lid.

5. Lightly contour the crease with a matte brown eyeshadow.

6. Apply a lime green cream eyeshadow on the lower lash line. If you don't have a lime green cream eyeshadow, just go ahead and use a powder one. The cream eyeshadow acts as a base that helps in intensifying the color and making the eyeshadow last longer than usual.

7. Set the cream eyeshadow with an eyeshadow in the same or almost the same shade. Blend to avoid harsh lines.

8. With a darker green eyeshadow, line the lower lash line staying close to the lashes. Taper the color as you go to the inner thirds of the lash line.

9. With a small blending brush, blend the colors to create a gradient effect.

10. Line the waterline with a dark green eye pencil. You may use black if you want to.

11. Line the eyes with a black liquid/gel liner. It is optional to create a cat eye.

12. Blur the ends of the cat eye to tone down the look a bit and to add a hazy effect.

13. Curl lashes and apply a generous amount of mascara.

14. Lightly contour the face.

15. Swipe on a orangey-gold lip color and DONE.

It was intentional to not apply a blush since I don't want the colors to clash that much.
